Senaptec’s Sensory Station is an all in one sensory evaluation and training station that offers a module of 10 visual and sensorimotor skills. It can test basic skills such as visual acuity, contrast sensitivity and depth perception. It also evaluates eye hand coordination, reaction time and go / no go skills important for performance in pressure situations. All told, it gives the athlete an idea of their sensory performance.

That’s not all. The Sensory Station uses cloud based data and analytics to give doctors and athletes immediate comparative results based on athlete age, sport and even position the athlete plays! The unique Sensory Performance Radar Chart provides a glance at overall performance; both strengths and areas for improvement. Training modules help athletes improve and track performance over time.

Senaptec also makes the Strobe. This sleek instrument utilizes the stroboscopic effect to train the connections between your eyes, brain and body. it is a special pair of goggles that can be worn anywhere, that uses liquid crystal technology to flicker vision from clear to dark. This essentially removes vital visual information to the brain during training so that it is left to “fill in the gaps”. Doing this forces the brain to process information quicker and therefore improves reaction times and speed. Athletes feel that after training with the Strobe, things seem to go in “slow motion” so they can see the ball better and react faster!
